ScoutFest

Riverside District’s ScoutFest will be an opportunity to “sell” what scouting has to offer to local area families, with the intent to “WOW” them and entice them to register their youth into our great program.  We will offer a multitude of Scout-based activities for youth of all ages to participate in.  Booths will be for both non-scouts and scouts to enjoy, though the non-scouts will have priority at all activities.  The event will be held at the Malabar Transmitter Annex (5600 Minton Rd, Palm Bay, FL 32907) from 10am-3pm on Saturday, 10 September 2022, and it will be open to the public, with scout-aged youth (K-12).  Some of the fun booths planned are: Monkey Bridge, BB Shooting Range, Archery Shooting Range, Pinewood Derby Track, Water Botle Rockets, Knots and Lashings, Dutch Oven Cooking, Snow Cones / Funnel Cakes, and many more.  All Riverside Scout Units will be asked to participate and man activity booths.  This will be a fun and easy event for the units and scouts and is a way to celebrate scouting in our community and grow our scouting family.   We plan on there being over 30 booths/vendors at ScoutFest.  Remember your Close-Toed Shoes.
